Sure, call me biased but Apple has once again set the benchmark for store designs. Seemingly inspired by the Louvre, Apple plans to unveil its new store today on 5th Avenue, New York. While it’s stores in general have been hugely successful, bringing in more revenue per square foot than any others contributing $US2.35 billion in sales, this latest effort may also be considered a landmark on the famous strip that includes Tiffany’s, Prada and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Folks have already started lining up to check it out and possibly grab some freebies. This will definitely be on my to do list next time I head up to NYC.
