I was doing a little playing around with the Google Custom Search Engine where you can actually sway the search results in your favour. It seems there are a few ways to do it including specifying sites whose rankings should be increased, decreased, excluding sites and limiting searches to a handful of your faves.

It’s an easy thing to set up. Head on over to Google Co-op to get started. Simply fill out the forms and copy and paste the code:

There are some additional features for the advanced user but for the beginner, setup is easy. Interesting.
